All you need to do is post a task (complete with your order details), wait for your meal, and indulge! You won’t be limited to certain restaurants either--our delivery shoppers can go to any café, restaurant, diner, or even grocery in your area. This makes it easier to get fresh food or healthy food delivery in your location.

When you post on the Airtasker website, we’ll match you with a personal delivery shopper who can do the following:

Placing your order

Your delivery shopper will drive to your chosen restaurant and place your order. This can be as simple as a hot coffee for one, a full-course meal for two, or packed lunch for a party of ten. If you have any special requests for your order, make sure to indicate them in the task form. You can also ask the delivery shopper to ask the restaurant about allergens, vegan options, adding extra ketchup packets, or not including any utensils in your order.

In case the items you like aren’t available, your delivery shopper will contact you to ask if you’d like to order something that’s in stock, or if you prefer to cancel that particular request.

Checkout and pickup

With Airtasker, you can ask your delivery shopper to pay for your order upfront, or pick up an order you paid for online. When filling out the task form, make sure to indicate your payment method. This lets the shopper prepare enough cash to pay for your food. Don’t forget to reimburse your shopper afterwards!

If your shopper is simply picking up food that you paid for already, give them any necessary details, such as your order number or proof of payment.

Delivery to your chosen location

Once your order has been picked up, your delivery shopper will transport the food to your location. You can even surprise a loved one and have a delicious care package delivered to their door! To do this, just indicate your friend’s address on the task form and tell the shopper to stop by your place to get reimbursed.

When receiving your delivery, remember to follow physical distancing and other sanitary protocols. Prepare a table or tray where the orders can be placed. Don’t forget to wash your hands before enjoying your food!
