Car still has heat, not leaking fluids, had a friend try changing the thermostat could possibly be air in the lines or maybe thermostat was done incorrectly… seems like the bottom hose is not getting hot all the time and not keeping pressure too

I had a mobile mechanic come out and look at my car. I know im not going to explain this well but he gave me the code. I have a 2015 jeep renegade. 2 weeks ago it died I had to get my battery jumped. I was good for awhile then things started flashing on my dashboard. I had no control over the heat. So I did a battery reset and thought it worked but it didn't. Basically there is some device needed to over ride the codes. The guy who came out here tried with some universal one he had and it didn't work. He said he had a friend that had one told me he could use it but his friend is out of state on a job for three days. So I thought he was going to help me but now he is ignoring my messages. Is this something you can help with? Sorry for all the information just want to try to be as clear as I can.
