Hi Josh, continuing our chat before, my son need ecouragement to reignite his passion in piano. He's pretty talented and fast learner, but recently shift his interest to guitar. I want him to embrace both, and have the lesson more for leisure. He's bad in reading note, but his hearing and hand skill are great. He's into anime theme kind of piano music, and self-thaught on guitar (more chords, but interested in easy fingerstyle). All in all, he needs more of a mentor/coach rather than teacher as he got some basisc already. It will be great if u can come to Doncaster east, otherwise i can drop him at ur place, preferably morning time in this school holiday season

My son is 6 and love music. He would be keen to learn electric guitar, acoustic or drum that is suitable for his age. Need to have working with children check and kind with kids. Hi I have been self-learning guitar for just under 2 years, exploring a range of different styles on both acoustic and electric guitar. I enjoy classical and general fingerstyle on acoustic. I also love Jazz music and have been using the electric guitar to mainly learn scales and deepen my understanding of music theory. At this stage my main & longer term goals are to develop my improvisation abilities on guitar, delve more into jazz guitar and continue developing my knowledge of music theory. I feel I have learnt a good amount on my own but have hit a bit of a wall. I feel quite comfortable playing around in certain scales (major, minor, harmonic minor, pentatonic). I know the scale shapes and root notes within these, but feel I would like to learn how to create more conscious musical ideas, learning chord/arpeggio shapes and building chord progressions etc. If you think you can help let me know Can do at my place in Surrey Hills or can come to you if East side / central Melbourne Am also flexible on times Nick
