Remove floating shelves with inbuilt LeD lighting

We had floating shelves installed next to overhead cabinetry in our kitchen in a recent renovation. I don’t like the look so want to remove them in a way so it looks like they were never there. Additional complication is that the floating shelves have inbuilt led strip on the underside of them which continues on from under the overhead cabinetry which are next to floating shelves. Would need to work out whether that can be cut or if not whether can neatly wrap around the overhead cabinetry so looks neat and good
