Registered NSW Design Practitioner – review & sign CDC drawings

$1,500

Details

I need a registered NSW Class 2 Design Practitioner (Architectural) to review existing drawings for a Complying Development Certificate (CDC) and sign the architectural design declaration under the NSW Design and Building Practitioners Act. This is for a Class 2 building (strata apartment block). I’m not after new drawings, just certification. Some of the draft drawings attached in ad. The drawings are prepared by the draftsman. If you require changes or additional details, the draftsman will make them to your mark-ups. If you’d rather make some amendments yourself, I’m happy to pay extra for that, so tell me what you’d charge in your offer. Ground-floor unit in a 4-lot Class 2 strata block, North Bondi. Enlarging a rear window opening into a hinged door, plus a new window and two steel beams. The structural engineer has already prepared the structural design, and I’ll supply their report along with the drawings. The certifier has asked for the architectural declaration. Budget: $1,500 for review, mark-ups, the declaration and a short call if needed. If the scope turns out to be bigger than described (for example, additional declarations or drawings), tell me before you start that work and we’ll agree the extra in writing. Please include your DBP registration number in your reply, and confirm you’re registered for Class 2 buildings.
