Complete IKEA Kitchen Install: Demo, Assembly & Carpentry (3.6m x 2.2m) Description: Looking for an experienced carpenter, cabinet maker, or professional kitchen installer to manage the complete physical overhaul of our L-shaped IKEA kitchen. 1. Demolition & Prep: Tearing out the old cabinets, removing the old splashback tiles, and patching any damaged drywall/plasterboard so the walls are flat and ready. This includes the shelves near the fridge. 2. Flat-Pack Assembly: Building all the IKEA cabinet carcasses, drawers, and internal tracking hardware. 3. Installation: Securing the IKEA suspension rails to the wall studs, hanging and leveling the cabinets, and meticulously aligning all doors and drawer fronts. 4. Laminate Benchtops: Cutting standard IKEA laminate benchtops to size, routing/joining the L-shape corner seam, and making precise drop-in cutouts for the sink and cooktop. 5. Finishes: Installing all cover panels, kickboards, and filler strips. Installation of microwave and rangehood. • Kitchen Size: L-Shape layout (one wall is 3.6m long, the other is 2.2m long). • Plumbing & Electrical: You do NOT need to do any plumbing or electrical work. A licensed plumber and electrician will be booked separately by me to handle the disconnects on Day 1 and the final appliance/sink hook-ups at the end. • Waste: Please let me know in your offer if your price includes rubbish removal/dump fees, or if I need to hire a skip bin for the old kitchen materials.
