Hi, I need an experienced Handyman or Carpenter to fix a sagging timber bedroom door. > The Issues: > * Stripped Screws: The top hinge screws have come loose and the screw holes in the door edge are stripped. > * Timber Crack: There is a vertical structural split/crack in the timber near the top hinge (needs proper gluing and clamping, or wooden dowel repair). > * Sagging & Rubbing: The door is sagging, rubbing against the carpet, and catching on the door frame. > Requirements: Re-align and secure the door so it opens and closes smoothly without hitting the frame or dragging on the carpet. Flexible with the date. Preferred timing: Early morning or late afternoon/evening so the room remains accessible during the day Please see attached photos of the hinge crack and door alignment.
