Seeking an experienced, meticulous tile installer to complete a residential bathroom tiling project. This is a labor-focused gig as the main layout materials are already being supplied. Project Scope: • Bathroom Floor: 37 square feet of standard floor tiling. • Shower Area: Walk-in style shower with 9-foot-high vertical walls. • Shower Pan: Zero-barrier/curbless entry setup. What I Will Provide: • The floor and wall tile (plus overage). • A pre-purchased, tile-ready zero-barrier shower pan. • Grout and tile spacers. What You (The Tasker) Need to Provide: • Professional tools (wet tile saw, levels, trowels, mixing equipment). • Subfloor prep materials (backer board/underlayment, screws, thinset mortar). • Professional waterproofing systems/membranes (e.g., Schluter-Kerdi, Hydro Ban, or equivalent) to ensure a 100% watertight seal all the way up the 9ft walls and at the flush pan connection. Required Tasks: 1. Prep the subfloor to accommodate the tile-ready zero-barrier pan so it sits perfectly flush with the 37 sq. ft. bathroom floor. 2. Install the shower pan and properly tie it into the floor/wall waterproofing membrane. 3. Install waterproofing membrane on walls up to the 9-foot ceiling. 4. Set, grout, and seal floor and wall tiles with clean, straight layout lines.
