Cut brickwork to raise doorframe

Title: Cut Brickwork Above Door Frame to Increase Doorway Height Looking for someone experienced with brickwork or masonry cutting to increase the height of an existing external doorway as part of our garage/bathroom renovation. The door frame needs to be raised, which requires cutting and removing a section of brickwork above the existing opening. There is a load-bearing beam above the doorway, which needs to remain undisturbed. The work has already been discussed with our carpenter. I have a medium-sized angle grinder with a diamond cutting blade available for use, although you’re welcome to bring your own equipment. Scope of work: * Cut brickwork to the required height. * Remove excess bricks and leave a clean opening. * Avoid disturbing the existing structural beam and its supports. Located in Umina Beach, NSW.
