We're a small education provider in Melbourne CBD looking for an artist or art teacher to host a fun, relaxed painting workshop for our end-of-year staff party. The concept: staff pair up and paint each other's portraits in a playful Picasso-inspired style (cubist, abstract, bold colours). No one needs to be good at art. The aim is laughs, conversation and team bonding, and everyone takes home a finished painting. Details: • Date: Friday 4 December 2026 • Time: 2:00–4:00pm (2 hours). Please arrive around 1:30pm to set up and allow about 15 minutes to pack down afterwards. • Location: our campus in Melbourne CBD (3000). It's an indoor classroom with tables, and the exact address will be shared once the task is assigned. • Group size: about 20 adults, all beginners What we'd like you to do: • A short intro to Picasso's portrait style, with a few examples or a mood board • A quick warm-up, e.g. blind contour drawing of your partner • Step-by-step guidance as pairs paint each other • Helping people who get stuck, and keeping the energy fun • A wrap-up where everyone shows their portrait (we'll handle any prizes) Materials: please quote both options: 1. You supply everything for 20 people: canvases, acrylic paints, brushes, palettes, aprons and table covers. 2. We supply the materials and you bring only your expertise. We'd welcome a shopping list. About you: • Experience running group art classes or paint and sip sessions • Comfortable with beginners and a friendly, energetic style • Photos of past workshops or your work would be great Please include in your offer your total price for each option, what's included, and a link to your portfolio or past workshops.
