I need my curtains hemmed by Monday evening. I need them taken up about 2-3 inches, and I have 10-16 curtains that need to be hemmed.

I need several drops of already made curtains to have linings made for them

Have some holes in my Kathmandu puffer vests pockets. Would like both pockets sewn up so they work again

Wanting someone to sew the lace trim seamlessly onto the edges of sheer fabric to mimic the sign in the photo for my wedding sign. Also wanting our names embroidered and the date below. Happy to negotiate for just the sewing if unable to do embroidery as well.

I’m looking for someone who can come over with their sewing machine and adjust the length of these curtains. There are four windows in total (2 are approx. 3.2m, 1 is approx 2m and 1 is approx 1m in length). I would prefer this to be done on site to keep the curtains hung if possible. If they can’t be sewn while hung we can take them off, but I would prefer this to be done at my house rather than someone taking the curtains home. Thank you!

I would like to learn the basics of sewing and fixing clothes like altering the hems or shortening sleeves. I understand it might require more time than other normal tasks.

Need my girls’ school dresses hems let out and redone

The rear vinyl window in the soft-top roof of my old convertible needs replacing (it’s discoloured and torn),the old one zips off, so I had the idea of recycling the zipper and sewing it onto a new piece of transparent vinyl. I can provide the new piece of vinyl. Heavy upholstery sewing machine most likely needed. I’m near Deloraine Tas, but can bring the work to you if not too far.

Curtain alteration altering the bottom of the curtain

I have a big top in a tunic style. I have cut it on both sides at the seams to make a tunic, however it didn't go very well. I'd like to have the sides hemmed so it looks neater, but still leave both sides open from the waist down. Please refer to photos. I made some mistakes cutting this. You don't have to fix the holes, just cut away the fabric so it's even. This is for a costume, and I will wear a shirt underneath. Thank you! Please let me know if you can fix it. :)

I need 5 panels sewn for a bay window around 1 meter by 550 wide each.They need Velcro sewn along the top of them as there is Velcro on the windows already .I can supply the old ones which are easy ,no cords at all ,they just hang over the glass and have a small piece of dowel that slips in the bottom .I have the old ones but new ones to be made from linen fabric which I have .It’s basically just sew Velcro across the top and sew sides and bottom to slip the dowel in . The last pic is the old one ,new one to be made with striped linen fabric .

I need a bench made for my sewing room. Would prefer not to have legs as they just get in the way. Maybe incorporate a couple of shelves into it. Length of bench approximately 2 metres

I bought some new dresses that need some basic hemming and alterations.

I need blackout curtains sewed for our caravan. There are five windows. I have the fabric, which is printed cotton and I also have the blackout lining - so you’ll need to sew the two together before hemming. The curtain tops are rings with clips so it’s just a simple hem all around, with the exception of one window which will need a basic pocket rod hem on the bottom. I have all the dimensions and can drop the fabric to you (within reason - we are in New Town)
