Sewing repair – microfiber items (cut & re-sew, 60 units trial) I’m looking for someone experienced with a sewing machine to help repair a batch of high-quality microfiber items. The material itself is premium — the issue is with the stitching. The existing seams will need to be cut off and reworked, then re-sewn cleanly and consistently. Each seam section is approximately 10 cm long and involves attaching a strap into the seam. Scope (initial trial): 60 units to start Requires trimming/cutting edges before re-sewing Potential for ongoing work (1000+ units) if a good fit What’s required: - Cut/remove faulty stitched edges (wasting as little as possible of the fabric) - Re-sew seams neatly and consistently, with the strap securely attached into the seam - Maintain a clean, uniform finish across all items Looking for someone who: - Has experience working with thicker / plush fabrics - Can cut and rework materials cleanly (not just basic repairs) - Can produce consistent, high-quality stitching - Is reliable and detail-oriented - Has their own sewing machine (industrial preferred) Timing: Looking to get started ASAP Quick turnaround for the first batch is important, Location: Noosa / Sunshine Coast preferred Open to nearby areas Budget: Open to offers (per unit for the trial or total for the batch) This is paid work, with potential more work Happy to answer any questions — please include a bit about your experience when applying.

Wanting someone to help with the task of unpicking stitching, removing current label, then sewing in a new one. My small business is growing and needing some tasks taken off my hands. The first few might take a bit to work out but once you get into it it’s super easy and takes 1-2mins to complete one. Beginner friendly - simple unstitching then sewing straight line!!
