The main work was completed as requested and Janette was honest about not attempting a rather difficult adjustment to my suit jacket but this wasn't a major requirement. I would recommend Janette to anyone, not just based on her seamstress/tailor work, but also based on her character. Thanks again! :)

Sumra was nice and friendly, but she lacks the technical skills and knowledge to create a clean, professional finish. Perhaps her niche is more aligned to alterations as opposed to the process of garment construction. Construction quality was rough.Stitches were uneven and sewing wasn’t in a straight line! Measurements for hemlines and waistbands were inconsistent. No evidence of measuring and pressing. Zips were inserted askew. Raw edges were completed with a zig-zag stitch as Sumra doesn’t have an overlocker. Business was conducted outside her house, so there was no opportunity to try on completed outfits prior to purchase. My first and last experience using AIR TASKER! Such a waste of money and time! Super disappointing!

I am currently developing a new product for my fitness business. It is a cushion that is used at the gym and I am currently looking for someone, who is willing to help me with the sewing. The pattern is done. The fabric, zips, rubber logos and all other parts will be supplied. All I need is someone to help me put together 40 cushions to start with. The pattern is quite simple so not a lot of time should be required per cushion. I would love to work with someone who is passionate about sewing and making quality products. Since I'm a small business owner, I would love to manufacture my product locally. I am looking at spending between $5-7 per cushion.
