Howdy folks. Looking for someone to sew two dust covers for electronic items. The items in questions are Coolscan 8000 ED and a Pakon 135+ film scanners. The covers will be fairly simple, basically a box with one side open. I can provide the material for the covers, which is polyester with a PVC coating. Slightly thicker than normal fabric. It might require a somewhat specialised sewing machine but with zero experience sewing I'm not sure if that's the case. Dimensions can be provided and/or you can take measurements of the scanners in person if you’d like. Located in Hackett ACT. Covers should look something like the attached photos. I have a 180cm long Persian rug that I want to hang to a wall. I'm exploring how much it would cost to discretely sew a strip of very strong velcro along one of the 180cm edges. I am interested in getting a sewing pattern made, a near exact copy of an existing shirt that I own. In short, I like the shirt, I'd like to be able to make more of them. I would like someone to create a pattern exactly the same as the shirt (only with the sleeves slightly longer), without taking it apart. I require a seamstress or curtain maker to come to a gallery site in Canberra (near old parliament house) on Friday Feb 25th who can provide their own overlocker. We have approximately 30 polyester/spandex sheets (6m long) that need to be sewn together. We estimate this will take 6 hours but will pay $40 per hour for any additional hours and will still pay the minimum of 6 hours if the job is finished sooner. We won't require your services for longer than 8 hours.

Requiring a zip to be sewn into my child’s favourite rabbit toy so I can put a tracker inside so I can find it when it inevitably gets hidden around the house. Stuffed toy is about 20cm so it’s not going to need to be a very big zip about 5cm.
