Sewing Tutor Wanted - $250 per 2 hr session. for 3 Keen Beginners! Are you a friendly lady who's handy with a sewing machine and enjoys teaching kids? We're looking for someone to teach 3 enthusiastic teens the basics of sewing in a relaxed, confidence-building way. What we're after: • 3 x private 2-hour sessions over this school term (last day school is 31st March) • Lessons to be held at our home in Indooroopilly •Sunday mornings 8am-10am, 3 sundays that suit you this term (last day school is 31st March). • Opportunity to continue next term. • $250 per 2-hour session = $750 for 3 sessions. • Help the girls confidently use their own sewing machines • Cover sewing basics (machine use, stitching, simple techniques) • Work through a simple project together (e.g. clothing pieces) • Go at the girls' pace and keep it fun We provide all equipment and materials. We own and operate a humanitarian/health marine vessel in Vanuatu and in Aus for dry dock. We need 60 “pls do not remove from the vessel” labels to be sewn onto 60 new fleece blankets. Ideally we’d want you to come onboard with your machine and do the job onsite (the vessel is a former coral expedition cruise vessel so it has comfortable working spaces), preferably on the 9th of February. Estimating it to be half a days job.

Wanting someone to help with the task of unpicking stitching, removing current label, then sewing in a new one. My small business is growing and needing some tasks taken off my hands. Can be a once off or ongoing (preferred). I have 300+ tees currently but order more weekly. Pay = $1.20 per tee completed. The first few might take a bit to work out but once you get into it it’s super easy and takes 1-2mins to complete one. Beginner friendly - simple unstitching then sewing straight line!! Experience in sewing preferred.
