I’m looking for an experienced seamstress or clothing maker for ongoing work. The work will include: * Clothing alterations and adjustments. * Recreating simple garments by using an existing item as a template. * Deconstructing a garment and making a new version using fabric that I supply (purchased from Spotlight or other fabric stores). Or…if you have fabric available * Minor design modifications where required. Examples of projects include: * Recreating a simple full slip/petticoat (without lace) to wear underneath dresses. * Copying a favourite garment in a different fabric. * Making small changes to improve the fit or style of an existing item. I’m not looking for a couture dressmaker or someone to create complex patterns from scratch. I’m after someone with solid sewing skills who is confident taking apart an existing garment and reproducing it neatly. This could become ongoing work if we’re a good fit. I have a white broderie anglaise/cotton skirt that is see-through and I’d like a lightweight white lining added so it can be worn without being transparent. I’d like the lining to: * Be sewn into the skirt (not removable) * Be lightweight and breathable * Match the length of the skirt I work full time so would be great to drop by after work or on the weekend. Remove and replace zipper in motorcycle pants heavy duty material, zipper will be provided

Zipper on bell tent needs replacing or repair without taking tent down

Two pairs of ladies trousers, size 6, to have hemline taken up. Straightforward job to have both pairs of trouser legs sewn. Trousers are measured and pinned ready to go. Items can be dropped off and picked up from local address.

My daughters dress for a family social event has a very thick hem under the dress and expresses discomfort when trying it on. It fits perfectly but yeah communicated it's uncomfortable around the skirt part as pictured. Can anyone do a silk or padded underlay hemming to fix that? It's a size 2, kids dress. Small.
