Our concrete dining table is being delivered next Friday and we’re looking for a couple of professionals to help us out with specialised equipment on the day. We will have at least four other strong people available on the day to help out with the move. The top of the table weighs ~300kg and the two legs are 70kg each. The legs will fit in our lift, however the table top may need to be carried up three flights of stairs. Last week, we just managed to fit our rectangular outdoor dining table in the lift. It was 2200mm long x 1000mm wide. Our indoor table is 100mm longer and 100mm wider, measuring 2300mm long x 1100mm wide. It is an oval shape - so there is a chance that it will be easier to fit in the lift, but if not, we will need to take the table up three flights of stairs. If your vehicle is too high it could potentially be unloaded on the street and carried into the garage where it can be loaded into the lift. At pick up it needs to be taken down one flight of stairs with a turn in it. It can be disassembled into several peices which makes it lighter and easier to carry. Usually it sits in a heavy duty dolly which makes it easy to move once it’s on a level surface. The heavy top can be detached so it makes it a lot lighter and easier to carry.
