Hi, I’m looking for a reliable mobile mechanic or small independent mechanic to supply and install a brand new radiator for my 2013 Holden Barina automatic (approx. 190,000 km). The radiator is currently leaking and needs to be replaced ASAP; the car is still drivable, the timing belt is brand new, and the car has just been serviced. I do not have the radiator, so you will need to supply a new radiator, install it, refill and bleed coolant, and check for leaks after installation. I’m located in Blackburn South, please mention your suburb and availability. Last week I was driving, my check engine light came on. It wasn’t even 20 minutes later that I started to lose power, I ended up stopping the car with smoke pouring out of the bonnet. I NEED to know if my engine has blown. There was no loud bang but there were some light tapping noises. The aircon started playing up about a week before this had happend. And oil was re filled about 2 weeks prior.

Vehicle (VW Passat wagon) recently serviced and in good condition. One wheel suddenly started making a loud scraping noise when vehicle is moving, not specific to turning or braking. Visual inspection shows nothing, but I suspect a rock of something is stuck in the brake mechanism. Would like someone who knows cars and can remove the wheel, possibly requiring getting under the car to find the issue before I try driving it.
