Independent Vehicle Assessment – 2000 Nissan Skyline R34 – Thomastown VIC I’m looking for someone mechanically minded with good knowledge of cars, ideally Japanese performance/JDM vehicles, to inspect a 2000 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-V manual located in Thomastown. I’m interstate and want an independent set of eyes on the car before I pay for a full professional pre-purchase inspection. I’d like you to: * Inspect the body and paint closely for accident repairs, mismatched panels/paint, rust or other damage. * Check underneath where accessible for rust, leaks, damage and general condition. * Inspect engine bay and check for oil/coolant leaks, modifications or anything suspicious. * Start the car from cold if possible and listen for unusual engine noises. * Test drive it and assess engine, clutch, gearbox, brakes, steering and suspension. * Check general condition of interior, electrics, tyres etc. * Take plenty of detailed photos and videos, including underbody where possible. * Give me your independent opinion on whether the car appears genuine, well looked after and worth progressing to a professional inspection. I’m not expecting this to replace a workshop/mechanical inspection. I want someone who knows cars to physically look over it, drive it and identify any obvious red flags before I proceed further. I am thinking of purchasing a second hand car from Facebook marketplace but I need a Mechanic to check over the car before I feel comfortable purchasing. Would require something to go out to the car and check it out. The car is located in Brighton East and is a 2017 Volkswagen Golf TSI. The car has a full service history and its mileage is 119,000km I would love if someone was able to go out and check the car over to make sure it’s in good working condition, as well as test drive it and perhaps try get a good price for the car. Ford focus re-gas my car as it needs doing

I’m hoping to purchase a car (2021 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line) from Melbourne and I need a mechanic to help inspect the car on my behalf as I’m located in Sydney.

I got a check oil pressure light come on my 2013 Mazda 6 (diesel). Had a mechanic inspect it and it had the error code "Engine Oil Deteriorated". Did a full service of the car including changing the oil and filter. The warning went away then came back the next day. The mechanic told me that the oils levels are fine and oil is pumping, so it's most likely a sensor issue. I would like a mechanic to come out to inspect the car and to confirm it is a oil pressure sensor issue and replace it. Currently, the oil pressure light is gone.
