My furnitures are 3 light desks, a cat tree, and a small compost tumbler, about 12 bags of soil and few boxes of books. The space is very small (about the size of a studio), so the clean usually takes around 1 hour. I’m looking for a kind and understanding handyman who loves organisation and decluttering, and can help me with some tasks before we have to move out. I’ve been caring for a very unwell child for some time, and can’t do all the tasks myself or lift some things alone. There are some specific tasks such as: * Replacing a screen on a window (just the fabric - we were pet sitting recently and their cat jumped up on it) * Fixing or replacing a door chain (connecting link got pulled) * A corner of carpet keeps coming up - no idea how to stick it down. I also need help to sort out my single car garage to make it easier to move. For example, I had to drag a huge rug in there that I couldn’t lift on my own. I need to try and fold or roll it up rather than it be in a pile and get damaged. General decluttering/restacking of boxes including replacing any broken boxes (have empty boxes to use) and chucking out whatever isn’t needed. I know this is hard to quote - I will pay for any expenses. But if you quote for an hour of time we can work it out. I’d imagine maybe 1-2 hours of work, maybe more depending. But whatever hours agreed to will be paid for - if we agree to two hours then we do two hours, regardless if completed or not. I have recently moved home and am heavily pregnant. I’m looking for help to move boxes from garage to various rooms of the house and unpack them, then move the empty boxes down to the garage for rubbish pick-Up on Friday. It is a split level home so does require you to be able to go up and down stairs comfortably. This is the perfect job for an excellent organiser and someone able to lift 4-5kg boxes. I also have a chair lift for anything you think is too heavy to carry up by hand from the garage.
