We’re moving from one unit to another and need an extra pair of hands to help with pre-move cleaning and packing. This is not heavy lifting/removal work – it is more of an assistant /helper role, taking instructions from my wife and working room by room. Tasks include: Light dusting and surface wipe-down of household items (books, utensils, decor/display items, etc.) in kitchen, bedrooms, and living/dining area before they are packed Cleaning hard-to-reach surfaces such as the top of the fridge, top of cabinets and cupboards, and other high surfaces that have accumulated dust over time (you should be comfortable using a small step stool if needed) Helping sort, place and pack items into boxes/bags/containers as directed Keeping similar items together and treating fragile items with care General tidy-up of packing area as you go Please bring any basic cleaning materials you like to use (gloves, cloths, dusters, Sprays, step stools etc.). We will have some supplies on hand. Bring in some boxes too, if you can. Approximate duration: Half-day to full day, depending on pace and how much we get through together. Looking for someone: Careful, diligent and organised Able to follow instructions with high customer service skills (low ego). Comfortable with light cleaning of higher surfaces Respectful and honest around household and personal items
