Looking for reliable ongoing household help in Gungahlin from early 2027 for two adults in a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit. Ideally, we’d like one weekly visit combining cleaning, laundry and simple meal preparation to free up our weekends. Tasks would include: • Cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming/mopping, dusting and wiping kitchen surfaces. • Helping with washing, hanging out laundry, folding and putting clothes away. Some ironing and changing bed linen if time allows. • Preparing simple batch-cooked dinners for two people for the working week—ideally 8–10 individual portions, with slightly larger portions for my partner. • Portioning meals into containers and cleaning the kitchen after cooking. We can provide recipes, groceries and meal containers. Meals don’t need to be fancy—we’re after nutritious, tasty food we can refrigerate/freeze and reheat during the week. We have a dog and a cat, so you’ll need to be comfortable around pets. We’re exploring costs before committing and would appreciate offers outlining: • Your hourly rate or price per visit. • How many hours you recommend and what you could realistically complete. • Your availability and relevant cleaning/cooking experience. • Whether you provide cleaning products and equipment. We’re initially considering around 4–5 hours weekly, but are flexible depending on the workload and cost. Then I would like to move onto bigger things like decluttering/reorganising spaces to help us get ready for bub and make it easier to maintain tidiness ourselves. Our good fit will be someone who understands households with kids and has experience helping families stay on top of things, knowing how to sort out what’s worth keeping/parting with and what helps a busy family household to function well.
