Experienced Event Waitress / Party Assistant – Private Boat Celebration We are hosting a 50th & 18th milestone birthday on a private Brisbane River boat and are seeking a highly experienced, polished and proactive event waitress / assistant to support the evening. This is a premium private celebration. We are not looking for amateurs or entry-level help. We need someone confident, organised and capable who can take ownership of food logistics so the hosts can fully enjoy the night. Location: Murrarie Recreation Hub, Captain Doug Hislop Park, Murrarie (near BrewDog) Date: Saturday 28 February 2026 Time: 5:30 PM – approx 10:00 PM (4.5 hrs) 65–70 guests. No alcohol service required. Responsibilities Pre-Boarding (5:30 PM): • Carry food from car boot to pontoon • Transfer food onto boat • Set up food in kitchen/serving area • Coordinate with boat crew During Cruise: • Organise and manage serving stations • Replenish trays and plates • Keep hot food heated using boat appliances • Maintain clean presentation • Assist with cake cutting and serve cake • Ensure hosts don’t need to manage food Post-Event: • Pack leftover food • Clean serving area • Carry items off boat and load into car We Are Looking For • Proven event / catering experience • Ability to work independently • Strong initiative and organisation • Excellent presentation and customer service • Bubbly, warm and professional • Comfortable working on a boat • Physically capable of carrying trays Experienced hospitality professionals only.
