🛠️ PORTABLE KERB RAMP Ramp Size: 1000mm (L) × 700mm (W) × 150mm (H) Use: trolley / wheelchair / cart kerb access Finish Required: strong, anti-slip, portable MATERIALS REQUIRED Timber & Ply 21mm Marine Plywood (Top surface) ☐ 1 pc: 1000mm × 700mm 18mm Plywood (Side triangles) ☐ 2 pcs: 1000mm base × 150mm height (triangle shape) 90×45mm Pine / Treated Pine (2×4 timber) ☐ 2 pcs: 1000mm (side rails) ☐ 4 pcs: 610mm (internal ribs) 📌 610mm ribs calculation: 700 − (45 + 45) = 610mm Fixings & Finishing Outdoor screws 75mm (frame) Outdoor screws 40–50mm (ply fixing) Wood glue Non-slip grip tape or rubber mat Rubber strip (old tyre / conveyor belt) for base grip Optional: handle cut-out / carry handle FRAME BUILD (BASE STRUCTURE) Step A: Build Base Rectangle Fix 2 pcs 1000mm timber rails on both sides Fix 2 pcs 610mm ribs inside to form rectangle Step B: Install Support Ribs Install 4 ribs total (610mm each) across width: Rib 1 at 0mm (front edge) Rib 2 at 330mm Rib 3 at 660mm Rib 4 at 1000mm (back edge / kerb side) ✅ Screw from side rails into ribs ✅ Use glue for extra strength SIDE TRIANGLE PANELS (RAMP SHAPE) Step C: Cut Side Triangles (2 pcs) Base length: 1000mm Height: 150mm Thickness: 18mm plywood TOP SHEET FIXING Fix Top Marine Ply Sheet Place 1000 × 700 × 21mm top sheet Screw down into ribs + side panels Screw spacing: every 150mm KERB LIP (ANTI-SLIP STOP) Step F: Install Top Lip Fix a timber strip at the top edge (150mm side) Lip size recommended: 30–40mm thick Full width: 700mm ✅ This hooks against kerb and prevents sliding forward. NON-SLIP & BASE GRIP Step G: Non-slip Surface Apply grip tape or rubber mat on top surface Step H: Base Grip Fix rubber strip under the front edge (ground side) Optional: add rubber feet FINISHING & SAFETY CHECK ☐ Sand sharp edges ☐ Ensure no screw heads protruding ☐ Test ramp for wobble ☐ Paint edges yellow/black for visibility (optional) ☐ Load test with trolley before use EXPECTED LOAD CAPACITY Approx 100–300kg
