We need to work closely on these projects so multiple in person meetings will be required. “Not replying to lengthy and wordy comments of what you can do, please send you recent character work.” We’re looking for a talented Melbourne based creative to help us craft: • 2D/3D character designs for mascots • Short animations suitable for social media ads and commercial use • Logo animations. We need there for 2 brand at the moment with more future projects inline line. We’ve already locked in the characters and have existing logos ready—now we just need someone who can bring them to life with personality, movement, and style. You’ll be working alongside our in-house digital designer, who’ll support you with ideas and any extra assets you may need, but the core creative work will be yours. We’re happy to kick things off with an in-person weekend meeting to get aligned. No CV needed—simply share your best or most recent work so we can get a feel for your style. Also we can discuss the cost and everything in the meeting. This is a project-based role, with plenty of ongoing and future opportunities lined up. We will also need continuous refresh of designs and animations too.

I’m looking for a creative animator to bring original characters to life in a short 30-second promotional animation for a children’s brand. The character images ready along with the concept, just needing someone to create the animation itself. The video should be colourful, engaging, and fun, capturing the magic and mindfulness of the brand (focused on courage, kindness, and empowerment for children). You’ll need to: Use provided character images and assets Add simple movement and transitions. Include the provided text on screen (if needed) Deliver the final animation in MP4 format (suitable for social media and website use) Ideal for someone experienced in 2D animation or motion graphics who enjoys working with children’s content and positive, feel-good themes. Length: Approx. 30 seconds Text/script and concept Brand colour palette and reference examples will be sent Deliverable: 1 x 30-second MP4 animation file I would like first example sent tomorrow (Thursday) so I can check that it's going in the right direction.
