I am opening a new general practice in Australia and am looking for an experienced remote IT freelancer to build a secure, cost-effective cloud environment. The aim is to minimise ongoing IT costs while ensuring the system is secure, reliable and fully documented so I can manage most day-to-day administration myself. Scope * Set up AWS (Sydney region) * Configure Windows Server * Configure networking, firewall and VPN * Set up encrypted automated backups * Configure Microsoft 365 * Prepare the server for Best Practice clinical software * Configure secure remote access * Optimise AWS to minimise ongoing costs * Provide complete documentation of the system Requirements * Strong AWS experience * Strong Windows Server experience * Cybersecurity knowledge * Excellent English communication * References or examples of previous work * Healthcare/medical IT experience preferred * Willing to explain all configuration and provide documentation * Follow security best practices and use the minimum AWS permissions required * All AWS accounts, billing, domains and resources must remain in my name * Use multi-factor authentication (MFA) * Do not retain passwords, credentials or encryption keys after project completion * Willing to sign an NDA if required * Available for occasional hourly support after setup Important This project may involve access to systems used in an Australian healthcare practice.
