Looking for friendly, reliable assistants to help run children’s craft activities during school holidays and seasonal events across Sydney. Hello! *Please note having a genuine interest/experience in the industry is required so please include that in your offer We’re a small production company based in Darlinghurst looking for someone to help out as our BBQ runner for our regular office BBQs. It’s a pretty easy-going and fun gig in a friendly creative environment, and would suit someone looking to meet people in the film/advertising industry and make a few connections along the way. The role includes: -Arriving around 9am to help set up for the day -Walking to nearby shops/butchers to pick up supplies (all local) -Running the BBQ and making sure everyone has what they need -Packing down, cleaning up, and helping get everything back in order afterwards -Lunch is included and you’re welcome to sit and eat with us. You’re free to head off once everything’s cleaned up and packed away - usually around 3:30pm, depending on how quickly everything gets done. We’re looking for someone who is: -Friendly and reliable -Happy to work autonomously -Efficient and proactive -Comfortable following direction while also using initiative -Interested in working in the creative industry (or already working within it) Our BBQs are held on Thursdays, roughly once a fortnight. There are usually around 15 people attending but sometime a bit less and sometimes a bit more. Our next BBQ is Thursday 4th June, and ideally we’d love to find someone who’d be keen to help out ongoing. Looking for an experienced party helper for a private 40th birthday cocktail party at our home in Lilyfield on Saturday 31 May. Approx. 20 guests. Afternoon event with champagne, gin and canapé-style catering. Looking for someone warm, proactive and experienced with private events to assist with: * Setting up food and drinks before guests arrive * Heating and replenishing catered canapés * Serving food occasionally * Topping up ice/drinks as needed * Collecting glasses and plates throughout the event * Helping keep the kitchen tidy and organised * General pack down/light clean-up at the end Event timing approximately 2pm–5:30pm, with arrival about 1 hour beforehand for setup.
