Spotted Gum Timber Kitchen Handles I'm looking for an experienced woodworker to manufacture a set of spotted gum rebated timber pulls with a concealed finger grip for my kitchen renovation. I need 11 190 mm long handles, 10 250 mm long handles and 3 350 mm handles. I already have spotted gum offcuts available. Handle Profile I'm after a modern rebated timber pull with a concealed finger grip, similar to the profile shown below. Hi, I have a vintage buffet that I'd like restored and upcycled. Looking for someone to help with: 1. Sand down and refinish the exterior (timber, ready for repainting — happy to discuss finish/colour once we connect) 2. Remove part of the solid panels from 3 of the doors and replace with glass — I'm open to plain, frosted, or fluted/reeded glass depending on what looks best 3. Line the back panel with wallpaper (I'll supply the wallpaper) I'm the "creative director" on this one — I have the vision and materials, just need the hands-on woodwork and finishing skill. Happy to work with one person doing everything, or if you only do part of this (e.g. restoration but not the glass-door conversion), let me know and I can bring in a glazier separately. Could you let me know: - Whether this is something you can take on - Roughly how long it would take - A ballpark cost - Whether you have photos of similar work you've done I can send photos of the piece and its current condition if helpful. I need a skilled handyman or carpenter to tidy up and finish the base of an outdoor structural timber post. The post is currently secured using a heavy-duty steel stirrup anchor, but it needs cosmetic finishing and weather protection. Scope of Work: Base Patching: Remove the loose temporary bricks shown in image.png. Neatly clean up, level, and patch/grout the concrete gap where the anchor meets the red paving tiles so it is watertight and flush. Anchor Cover / Skirt: Supply and install a neat post base cover (timber collar, moulding, or a two-piece post skirt) to completely hide the steel bracket and protruding bolts shown in image_2.png, image_3.png, and image_4.png. Sealing: Apply appropriate outdoor sealant/gap filler between the timber post and the new cover to prevent water trapping and wood rot. Additional Details: Photos: I have attached four photos for reference. image.png shows the full base setup, while image_2.png, image_3.png, and image_4.png show close-up angles of the steel bracket and bolts. Materials: Please include the cost of the patching compound and the timber moulding/skirt in your quote, or let me know what I need to pick up. I can handle the final touch-up painting myself. Timing: Looking to get this completed in the next couple of weeks. Please reply with your estimated cost and when you might be available to take a look. Thanks!

We are looking for someone who could reproduce a piece of wood for a furniture restoration project we are doing. Tasmanian Blackwood. Measurements: 9cm x 9.7cm base with softly curving edges. 0.8 cm depth. Needs to have 30mm diameter hole in the centre. Can send photos when made and send in the post. I need 2 wooden nest boxes made for a mobile zoo for fat-tailed dunnarts. The dimensions would be 13cmx13cmx13cm. The roof would need to be on hinges so it can be opened and closed. There would need to be a hole at the back for the dunnarts to enter but we also need to be able to lock them in the nest box once they are in. The front panel would need to have a Perspex viewing window built in so we can easily view them. However, we also need to be able to slide a piece of wood across the Perspex to blacken out the next box.
