Carpenter Needed for 1 day labour to Cut & Assemble Custom Desk + Floating Shelves at Warehouse We’re looking for an experienced carpenter to help us cut, assemble and install a custom desk and two floating shelves at our warehouse. Custom Desk The finished desk will be approximately 4.2 metres long x 600mm deep, running along the edge of the room. It will be made in two sections, split in the middle. We have particle board with a finished timber/wood veneer surface that will need to be accurately measured and cut to size. The job will involve: Measuring and cutting the desktop sections to the required dimensions Creating a finished desk approximately 4200mm long x 600mm deep Making clean, furniture-quality cuts without chipping or damaging the veneer Following our supplied measurements and layout for the desk legs Helping assemble and fix the legs and desktop sections Ensuring the two sections line up neatly in the middle Making sure the finished desk is level, secure and neatly finished Floating Shelves We also need help creating and fixing two long floating shelves. Each shelf will be: 4.9 metres overall length 300mm wide The carpenter will need to help us: Measure and cut the shelf material to the required dimensions Join/prepare the sections as required to achieve the 4.9m overall length Install and securely fix both floating shelves to the wall Make sure the shelves are straight, level and cleanly finished We’ll supply the boards/materials, desk legs and our required measurements/specifications. You’ll need to bring the appropriate professional cutting and installation tools, particularly equipment suitable for making clean cuts in veneered particle board. This should be a relatively straightforward on-site job for an experienced carpenter. Please let us know your carpentry experience, what equipment you have, and whether you have experience installing long floating shelves and custom desks.

Source & Install 3x Custom Floating Timber Shelves BUDGET: $800 - $1000 I need a highly skilled carpenter or bespoke joiner to source materials and install three floating shelves in a kitchen alcove. This is not a flat-pack job; it requires custom cutting and flush fitting. Please look closely at the attached reference images You will need to source solid warm timber (e.g., Tasmanian Oak, Blackbutt, or similar light hardwood). Needs to be sanded and sealed/oiled. The shelves must be scribed to fit perfectly flush against the back wall, the left cabinet, and the right structural arch. No ugly gaps. As seen in the reference photo, the right-side corners need to be smoothly rounded off to soften the edge against the entryway. True floating finish using heavy-duty concealed brackets (drilled into brickwork, but be carful of going too far into the bathroom on the other side.)They musnt sag when holding weight. To Apply: Confirm your quote covers both supplying the timber and the installation labor. Link or attach 1-2 photos of custom shelving or cabinetry you've installed previously.

Hi! We’re looking for an experienced carpenter, furniture maker or woodworker to modify our solid oak Totem Road dining table. The main job is to soften and round over the existing tabletop edges using a router, giving the table a softer curved profile. We’d also love to discuss the base/legs to create a more sculptural profile, similar to the reference image attached (labelled measured table), with the legs sitting along the side profile of the table top. Potential scope: - Router/round over all tabletop edges to a soft, consistent profile - Sand and finish the routed edges appropriately - Optional: cut and round over new legs/base profile (if wood supplied) - Optional 2: sand entire table for coating with rubio monocoat in cotton white for a softer pale oak Scandinavian finish If you're happy to do the optional tasks, please quote all jobs individually. The table is solid oak, so we’re looking for someone experienced with quality hardwood furniture and router work rather than general handyman work. Photos of the existing table (labelled totem road) and inspiration table (labelled measured table) attached.

I was wanting to get a cabinet made for my fridge recess to go above my new fridge, when it arrives. The plumber has installed a stop valve on the rear wall and my dimensions give this a 20mm clearance, so a 160mm deep cavity behind the proposed cabinet I'm after a standard white melamine cabinet (carcas) with one adjustable shelf in the middle. And the cupboard doors to be in matching Formica Velveteen Velour Finish with 162mm satin handles The dimensions are the overall external dimensions. So I don't know if you could do this, and if you could, a quote for the cost would be great. Please see attached photos. Sorry about my bad hand drawing. I'm located in Beveridge. If you can't do this, can you please recommend someone that could?
