Build & Install Custom Oak-Look Storage Cabinet in Decorative Fireplace (Nursery) Looking for an experienced carpenter, cabinet maker or skilled handyperson to build and install a custom storage cabinet within an existing decorative fireplace in a nursery. The goal is to create a clean, built-in appearance while preserving the original character of the fireplace, including the exposed brickwork and hearth tiles. Fireplace dimensions * Opening width: 865mm * Opening height: 845mm * Depth: 367mm * Existing brick lip at base: approximately 90mm high Proposed cabinet * Approximately 700mm wide * Approximately 400–450mm high * Approximately 320–350mm deep * Two push-to-open doors preferred (or drawers if you believe this is a better solution) * Oak-look finish (veneer, laminate, plywood or similar) * Cabinet to sit recessed within the opening, leaving exposed brick visible on both sides and above * Existing brickwork and hearth tiles to remain visible and undamaged Scope * Site measure (if required) * Build cabinet * Construct platform over existing brick lip if required * Install cabinet securely * Achieve a neat built-in appearance with quality finishing Style Looking for a warm Japandi / Scandinavian aesthetic that suits a period Melbourne home. I need a backdrop built like the picture below. I have 3 x stainless steel sheets each measuring 2440 x 1220. I need a timber frame built, plywood will be attached to the frame and the stainless steel sheets glued down onto the plywood. The frame needs wheels attached at the bottom also. Open to build suggestions. The aim is to achieve the below. I’ll supply the stainless steel sheets. Other materials will need to be purchased.

I’m looking for a carpenter to build a simple custom console table for my record player and vinyl collection. The unit will be used to store records and support a turntable. We have a backyard studio 4 x 2.2 approx and would like a bed built into one end so we need the drawers to open from one side only and the drawers to be the full width of the bed and approx 5 drawers, open to ideas on how drawers slide in and out - on wheels or on rails etc. Natural wood materials such as plywood and bed slats we could come up with a plan to reduce workload - ie source bed slats from ikea etc
