Hi, I'm looking for a handyman to carry out a few small jobs in my studio apartment in South Dublin. There is one entrance door and one large window. The work I'm looking to have done includes: Door sealing: Check and fit or replace the rubber lining/weatherstripping around the entrance door, including sealing any gaps underneath. Mosquito net: Measure and install a suitable insect mesh screen for the large window, preferably removable. Insect-proofing: Inspect the apartment for small gaps or openings where insects might enter, particularly around the door, window, skirting boards and pipe openings, and seal them appropriately. Entrance area: Check the door frame and threshold to ensure there are no obvious gaps allowing insects or draughts inside. Ideally, I'd like all the work completed in one visit if possible. Could you please let me know whether you undertake these types of jobs, your call-out/labour charges, and whether you can supply the necessary materials? Hi, I have a floor-to-ceiling aluminium balcony door that doesn’t seem to be closing or sealing properly. I can feel a draught coming through the top and bottom corners, while the door seals properly in the middle. The handle turns normally, but when I try to open the door in tilt mode, one of the top corners comes away from the frame while the other remains attached.

Hi! I need a door flap installed to the patio door. The door is uPVC. I suspect that the lower panel can be removed but I'm not sure. I will also need your help with choosing a flap door for it.
Very poor workmanship. Contractor recommended an unsuitable pet door despite checking compatibility, then installed it using excessive foam and silicone. The door doesn't close, and our patio door and decking were damaged. Our puppy contacted fresh foam and needed veterinary care. My husband had to supervise the work, and the contractor became confrontational over extra charges. Would not recommend.
