trying to find where the studs are in my lounge area wall to either a) install multiple floating shelves or b) custom made shelves in the size etc that i need from scratch (like a bookshelf)

I have one large (A0) and 3 smaller frames (A3) in my lounge and dining room. The wood studs in my house are very thick and I am unable to hammer the nails in (had to use an impact driver to get the TV hung) I have small nails and photo hooks for the smaller frames but I don’t have anything to hang the larger frame as uncertain what needs to be used
