Looking for a qualified glazier to inspect and repair a frameless shower glass door in a relatively new apartment in Willoughby. This is a recurring issue. The door previously dropped and started scraping the bottom. The builder’s contractor adjusted and lifted the door, however over time it has gradually dropped again. I am not looking for someone to simply lift the door and leave. I would like a proper assessment of why this keeps happening. Scope of work: • Inspect the shower door, hinges and mounting hardware • Lift and realign the door if required • Check for any worn, defective or incorrectly installed components, including hinge gaskets, rubber packing pieces, setting blocks or other parts that could be contributing to the door gradually dropping over time • Advise on the root cause and recommend a permanent fix where possible • Replace any minor parts if available (materials can be discussed separately) I will attach photos showing the current door position and hinge type so you can come prepared with any tools or common replacement parts if required.
