We lay sapphire lawn oct 2020 and are having problems with thatching and dead brown spots. We have tried aerating, fertilising, fungicide, pesticide and more. 1) Installation of 30m of garden edging - 1100mm deep trench required to insert edging into - some tree roots so if you have a circular saw to run along the edge or something similar that could make life easier. 2) Core lawn 60 m2 - we have a manual core device, but if you have a petrol one that would be done in under 30 mins. 3) Top dress 60m2 lawn with sand - will need to move by wheelbarrow from front path to garden - <20m 4) move fresh top soil from delivery site at front path to garden - 1 cubic metre
