It looks like the previous owner created concrete borders to outline garden beds a long time ago. Most of the concrete has already been broken and removed, but these last three areas need power tools which I don't have. I have dug below the concrete in some areas and it doesn't appear to be thick slabs, just shallow outlines for the garden beds.
