Looking for a friendly, professional and innovative landscape/garden designer to assist with the design of garden in the backyard, around the pool area, a small area in the driveway, and an elevated fencing (more on that later). You will be working around existing infrastructures such as pool and decking, composite bench, hedging plants, potted plants and retaining walls. I have lots of ideas and extensive plant list (and samples from pinterest) but I need help to put this on paper (and for the designer to challenge these ideas as well!). so I’m hoping the design process itself would be a bit quicker as we are not starting from scratch. The design feature should include but NOT limited to: To be implemented on the short term: - Cottage-themed Garden (on a sloping garden bed) - Tropical-themed Garden around the pool - Privacy trees or plants to line up on the fence line - Terraced garden bed in the front yard - Architectural display pieces (e.g. statues, rocks) that can be displayed in the garden beds To be implemented in the long term - Options for the backyard (when kids are all grown and I can get rid of the playset!) Plant schedule (I have an extensive listing of plants per recommendation from a local nursery that can be used as a starting point to cut on time spent but I need this in a proper plant schedule. Also open to get challenged on this list) 3. A sneak peak or portfolio of suggested design ala mood board 4. Recommendation of reputable landscapers/gardeners (preferably local to the area) I prefer to have an on-site meeting and if possible a discussion of the plans once produced (or maybe a phone/video call to clarify questions, etc.) I would like to implement the plan in phases instead of doing it one go so it would be good to get a recommendation of quick wins (things that I can DIY such as planting and preparing garden bed etc.).
