I need someone to sand, oil/ stain, remove rust, fix base of chair and possible bottom of the legs of 6 beautiful mid century chair. It doesn’t need to be professionally done as have a tightish budget and ideally would love them done by Tuesday morning.

I have a pair of midcentury chairs, they’re not precious and have been well loved but I’d like to save them from landfill. One of them has sustained a little damage after someone leaned back too far on it and I think it might need to have the arm taken off and the dowel replaced and re-glued. I don’t expect it to be a cosmetically perfect job, but I would like to extend the life of the chair.

Hello! We need someone with the right tool to help us tighten the screws (or possibly re-screw) our 6 dining chairs. Each chair has 4 screws in the back that are all a bit loose, making the chairs slightly wobbly / lean back - which is not ideal. They all have the same issue, so wouldn’t be a different task for each. Shouldn’t be a long job at all, we just don’t have the gear for this! NEEDED: Drill and possible spare screws

I'm looking for a quote to fix an old rocking chair that's been in my family for a while. We were using it until quite recently when the creaking sounds became a bit worrying. It's very creaky and even feels like it's shifting a bit behind you as you rock. Part of what is needed is a diagnostic, but I imagine that the issues are related to broke spindles and also some separation that seems to be occurring. I would just like it to feel solid and safe.
