Fresh food delivery includes picking out the freshest food items from the local grocery store or the nearest market, taking them through checkout, and delivering them to your doorstep. Your Tasker will coordinate the shopping and delivery time with you, usually with a same-day delivery option to ensure the quality and freshness of your products. Here’s how:
Sorting your grocery list
Try to be as detailed as possible when making your grocery list, especially if you have any preferences in mind. Include specific brand names, as well as the quantity for each item on your list. Feel free to list down whatever you need—whether it’s fresh fish, fruits and vegetables, poultry, or pantry staples like fresh milk, and eggs. You can also request for freshly baked bread, dessert cravings, takeaway food, or freshly brewed coffee. Don't forget to mention if you prefer items that are vegan, organic, dairy-, or gluten-free. Also, you can have the expiration dates checked for good measure.
Fresh food shopping
Once you've shared your list with your Tasker, they will head to the store to shop for your items or make multiple stops if needed. Keep an eye on your app’s messaging tool to answer follow-up questions. In case an item on your list is unavailable, let your Tasker know that you’d like to replace it with something else. Once done, your shopper will take your items through checkout and pack them up. You will also be sent a receipt so you can approve the total cost of the items.
Fresh food delivery
As soon as your fresh food items are ready to go, your Tasker will deliver them to you. For contactless delivery, prepare a safe place where they can drop off your goods (preferably outside your door).
