Most work on a same-day delivery basis, so your flowers reach their destination looking their best. Never arranged flower delivery before? Here are a few suggestions of what you can request and how it works:
Gift pick up and delivery
Request collection and delivery of flowers you’ve already ordered from a florist. Your flower and gift delivery service need two addresses: the address of the florist or nursery where the flowers have been arranged, and the name and address of the recipient. Make sure you also pass on any proof of purchase or collection details. Your driver will pick up the flowers and take them to the drop-off address. To confirm safe delivery, you may get a text, phone call, or picture message showing your flowers have made it to their destination.
Purchase and delivery
Need to send flowers but haven’t got time to pick out a bouquet or arrangement yourself? Ask your flower delivery service to choose the flowers and buy them for you. If you have a preferred florist, let your delivery person know. Give a brief that includes details of the budget (you may need to transfer this money before the job is complete), occasion, colours and any specific flowers that must be included. Regular communication and the request of photos before final purchase will ensure you’re buying an arrangement you’re happy with. Once the flowers have been paid for, your delivery person will transport them to your preferred destination, before sending a confirmation of receipt via text or phone call.
Event flower delivery
Event flower delivery is ideal for weddings, funerals, parties, and corporate events where large arrangements or multiple flower arrangements need picking up and delivering safely. Book this service in advance, giving enough notice as to what time the flowers need picking up and where from. Your delivery person will confirm the number or size of items to be delivered, what time they need to reach their destination, and contact details of the recipient.
Flower delivery for Sundays
Struggling to find a weekend courier service? You can book the same-day flower delivery - even on Sundays. Let your delivery driver know the weekend opening times of the florist so they can collect the flowers in time. Your driver might charge a little extra for working on the weekend, but they’ll discuss this with you when finalising your quote.
