My front steps are a metal frame, with welded metal brackets with the wooden steps on top of the brackets. The second bottom step, the metal bracket on one side looks to have rusted so much its fallen off. I am planning on getting the entire steps replaced at some point in 6-12 months so just need a fix so the step is useable for that period. I don't care about neat, I just want something functional.
