The Job: • I need a new power point (GPO) installed in the garage. • needs to support two fridges. Both are 5.3amp • The power needs to be sourced from an existing power point/outlet located in the laundry • A new cable (approximately 20 meters long) needs to be run from this existing source, out to the garage. • I believe a junction box may be required to connect the new line to the existing power source, but I will leave the exact method up to your professional judgment. • Please note: The cable will need to run outside. I may have enough conduit which can be used. Requirements: • Must be a licensed electrician (happy to provide certificate of electrical safety/compliance upon completion). • Please bring all necessary materials (cable, junction box, new power point, etc.) • I am looking for a neat, safe, and professional job. Hey I'm currently holding fort in my garage, ideally would like a sparky to help put a power point in my garage or bring a 25-30mm extension cord and a 4-6 power board as I just accidentally spilt drink on my power board and it blew.. it's for my wellbeing that I get my phone and speaker charged and if you've got some weatherproof tape that would be a massive help. I have an old surface-mounted GPO that needs replacing. Two old rigid PVC conduits enter from above — the left is the incoming supply and the right continues to another working GPO. The downstream GPO needs to remain connected. Looking for supply and installation of a suitable 10A weatherproof surface-mounted GPO, with any conduit adjustment required for the installation. There is also an ceramic fuse that needs checking and replacing with the fuse wire. Please let me know your quote. Thanks.
