Hi, I'm looking for an illustrator to illustrate a children's picture book about neurodiversity. Long term goal is to create a series of books so I would love to find someone that is easy to work with who has capacity to work together in the future- that is affordable since I will be self funded and am currently studying not working! The first book is looking to be approximately 16 pages, plus a title page, front and back cover. Some pages will have one bigger illustration while others will have 2-3 smaller illustrations. Do you charge by the hour, by the illustration, for the whole project? What are your rates? I have no idea on pricing, so obviously my budget is N/A. Do you have any illustrations you can send me of your style? I am looking for something bright, colourful, engaging for children. I quite like the look of water colours but not attached to that idea if something else will work better. I am not in an immediate rush.
