Hi there, I’m looking for an honest and reliable tradesperson to come over and inspect my raised timber deck and provide a quote to repair or replace it. The deck is attached to the back of the house and sits on steel posts. It’s an old elevated timber deck with visible signs of age, weathering, and moss/rot underneath. I’d like someone to: • Assess the condition of the joists, bearers, and decking boards • Advise whether it can be repaired or needs full replacement • Provide a written quote for the work Photos attached for reference. I noticed that the grass was cutting unevenly so I changed the blades and tried levelling the deck but didn’t do much. The blades on my deck aren’t lining up so I am assuming the deck is damaged. Looking for someone experienced with decking to: Replace some damaged planks. Lightly sand the whole deck (5m × 7m). Apply 2 coats of decking oil/stain. Deck is poolside and in fair condition, just needs a tidy-up and small repairs. Must have own tools. I can supply the oil and timber if needed, or include in your quote. Small timber deck needs repairing. The timber slats at the top are in good condition and can be re-used, but the timber footings/supports appear rotted and require replacement. It’s at the side of the house so needs to be functional but does not need to look amazing. Deck size is 183 wide X 242 long.

One of my wooden windows is rotted and needs to be repaired. I have attached photos of the window below for your reference. I have already cleaned out the rotted wood and exposed the solid wood underneath. The next step is to repair and restore the window frame.
