I had some nerve damage about a month ago and it has left me with balance problems, because I can’t properly feel where I am in space. It’s getting better but my doctor suggested dance as a way of reconnecting my brain to my muscles. I don’t want to go to group training because I’m embarrassed about being a bit wonky and uncoordinated at the moment. I’m looking for someone to ideally teach me hip hop or jazz but I’m open to different styles, just not contemporary.
