My house was flooded to ankle depth and one of my nice rugs was soaked. It's very delicate and soft so it's a delicate job. I tried hanging it up for days but it's too moist in my house to dry. It's stored and rolled up at the moment but not entirely dry, it's probably growing a bit of mould but should be salvageable, it's just too heavy and hard of a job for me to do by myself. I'd say it needs to be hosed down well and then hung in the sun or a really dry room for a few days. Would love anyone's help! Rug is 230cm by 160cm I believe.
