Date: Saturday 7 November Location: Dee Why – private residence Guests: Approximately 60 (final numbers confirmed 2 weeks prior) Event: 40th birthday celebration Party time: 5pm until late Staff required: 1 x experienced wait staff Shift: 4:45pm–10:45pm (6 hours) I’m looking for an experienced, friendly and proactive wait staff member to help keep everything running smoothly throughout the evening. It will be a relaxed cocktail-style party rather than a sit-down dinner, with grazing/finger food being served throughout the night. Responsibilities will include: Helping with final setup before guests arrive Heating and serving food as required Keeping food and grazing areas stocked and looking presentable Clearing used glasses, plates and napkins throughout the evening Washing/rinsing glasses and keeping the kitchen tidy General tidying and cleaning as needed Helping with pack-up and as much cleanup as possible before finishing at 10:45pm I’m looking for someone who is confident, self-directed and proactive, who can keep an eye on what needs doing without needing constant instructions. The aim is for the host to be able to relax and enjoy the party rather than worry about the food, drinks and tidying. Experience with private events/cocktail parties is preferred.

Need a friendly, competent ‘bar’ person to mix spicy margaritas from 3:30-6:00 . A little champagne top-upping, beer opening. It is a group of 13 people - for my 50th birthday. Looking for an experienced bartender to help with a private cocktail function in Wagstaffe on Saturday 19 September. The main job will be making and serving two cocktails: Martinis Southsides We’ll have the bar area set up before you arrive, including alcohol, mixers, ice, glassware and garnishes. Beer, seltzers, water and other drinks will be self-serve, so you’ll only need to focus on the two cocktails. Looking for someone with cocktail experience to assist at a 30th birthday with cocktail making. Approx 35-45 people. We will supply all booze/mixers/glassware. Looking to serve cocktails between 2pm-6pm. Would also be helpful to assist with serving some food between 5-6pm. Planning to get some pre-made salads that might need putting together and some chickens etc to get served out. Quick tidy of any plates/glasses etc before heading off.
