Top Coffee Catering related questions
This depends on the terms and conditions set by the Tasker, though this can usually be negotiated. Some coffee caterers may require an advance deposit, while others may be more flexible with payment terms. It is better to discuss payment specifics with your Tasker to be sure. You can even set terms that fit your needs.
As with advance deposit terms and conditions, it depends on the Tasker. Some event suppliers require a certain percentage of the full payment to get the work started and this may include securing supplies and other consumables like coffee and cups where some of the budget need to be spent. These specifics are best discussed with your Tasker to be fully sure.
In a nutshell, specialty coffee refers to a coffee of higher quality than you’re used to. These coffees are considered specialty using objective scoring standards and are usually worth a premium. Some caterers even offer these coffees strictly without sugar as they believe that specialty coffee flavors are best enjoyed on their own. If this is more up your alley, be sure to specify this preference in your task posting.
Coffee blends are as you read them: blends of coffee beans from different sources. These sources are referred to usually as single origin and are often traceable – from as big as a region to as specific as a farm’s specific lot. In a nutshell, blends are made to highlight the positive traits of single origins while masking the not-so-pleasant ones. Cost-wise, blends also tend to be cheaper.
Some Taskers may be able to, especially those who are also fond of having fun with drinks. However, do note that some custom drinks take time to make and may cost more, so expect added material and labor, which should be reflected in your posting. You may also specify in the posting that your budget is flexible to accommodate these custom requests.
If you mean coffee drinks or coffee beans themselves, they usually are available for purchase at a Tasker’s shop or café. Mobile coffee catering carts usually stem from a café that wants to venture into catering. You may ask your Tasker about these potential purchases for more in-depth details. Chances are you may even find a go-to café or new daily driver coffee beans when you book a coffee caterer.
