We’re after an experienced BBQ cook to help out at a small 21st birthday. Details: Date: Saturday 20th September 2025 Location: South Yarra Guests: 8–10 mates (all around 21, so you’ll be the responsible BBQ captain 😅) BBQ: Classic Webber kettle Food: We’ll supply the meat, plus salads and rolls. What’s needed: Fire up and manage the Webber kettle confidently Cook the meat (sausages, steaks, chicken, etc.) so it’s on point Help set up serving area Clear away afterwards Hours: Around 3–4 total Pay: $300 flat rate (includes setup, cooking, and clean-up) Requirements: Must have BBQ/catering experience and references. Vibe: Relaxed backyard party, nothing fancy — just great BBQ and a bit of clean-up help.

Hi there! I’m hosting a family birthday barbecue and I’m looking for a reliable, friendly person to help out on the day. I need an extra set of hands to keep things running smoothly so I can actually enjoy the celebration too! The role is a bit of everything—kind of like casual event support. You’ll help with food organization, making sure it’s served and flowing, keeping drinks topped up, handing out napkins and clean cups, and generally keeping the space tidy throughout the party. You’ll also assist with dishes, manage rubbish and bins, and gently guide guests away from areas that aren’t part of the party zone if needed. Basically, someone who can stay on top of the little things and help keep the event stress-free and fun.
