Timing: Flexible I'd like to install some custom shelves to fit into two small alcoves/nooks. The shelves will need to be customised to fit the wall space. We have 3 pieces of board (1x large 2xsmaller) that has to be trimmed to size (if needed) and grooves cut in on the sides to fit the railing. After installed, we would also want corking or something to fill any gaps on the edges to make it as smooth as possible as well. The desk boards have already been brought to site so you just have to be on site with your tools. The previous work was done with a circular saw, but a channel drill should do the job as well. I am looking for someone to build simple shelves around my fireplace. The fireplace already juts out so the cubbyholes for shelves already exist. Each side is 98cm wide. Floor to ceiling is 280cm, and floor to crown moulding is 268. Depth is 38cm. I would like 9-11 shelves between both sides. I am planning a renovation in 2.5 years so these are somewhat temporary.

I need a quote and timing for a project of fine carpentry -- the price on the airtasker quote is just a guess.. need a good caprtneter to build custom shelves and a bed for my apartment. Bed can be simple in the base but a nice finish around the sides.

4 Alcove floating shelves, 2 on each side of fireplace. Length 106.5cm, width 30cm. Wood finish, happy with veneer, mdf, whatever is cheapest. Will hold books so needs to be able to handle at least 25kg in weight per shelf. I'm happy to go to bunnings and get the wood cut there if it helps reduce price.
