Windshield Wiper Repair - Wiper Motor

$100

Clayton VIC, Australia

17th Jun 2020

My windshield wipers have suddenly stopped working. I have done some trouble shooting, and believe I have narrowed it down to the wiper motor. Whether it needs to be replaced, or can be repaired (or perhaps is an electrical issue), I am unsure. The car is a Mitsubishi Lancer CH 2007. What I have tried: - Checked the pivot nuts were tight - Checked the fuse was intact - Lubricated with WD-40 - Checked that the wiper motor was connected Currently the weather covering, and wiper blades have been left removed. I would like someone to inspect the problem, repair the issue, or replace the motor if necessary, and reinstall the wipers and covering.
