Holes and Burns
A simple and easy patch is all it will take to fix holes and burns on your cloth car seats. However, keep in mind that not all patches are the same. You'll need to look for one that suits the current colour and material of your seats. Once you find the perfect match, your Tasker will use a contact adhesive and a heat gun to cover the damage seamlessly.
Rips and Tears
Tears and rips that are bigger by a few inches will need proper cross-stitching. With a thread and curved needle, the repair specialist will carefully sew up the tear from top to bottom until both sides are stitched together. Then, they will conceal the stitch with a larger patch using adhesive glue.
Car Seat Padding Repair
A car seat repair involving the padding is a more complicated process. Your repair specialist will slide your seat back the farthest it can go to reach the underside, detach the bolts that hold them in place, and unplug a power harness if necessary. From there, they will disassemble and use specialised scissors to cut away and remove all remnants of the old padding.
