I bought my car about 2 weeks ago and had a service completed. The engine was getting harder to start every morning and the car would shake massively once the engine first started. If I didn’t move in time, the engine would just cut out. I assumed the battery needed replacing so that got changed a week ago, it started it up smoother to begin with but yesterday and today it’s needed a good 10 goes at turning the key for it to start. I had to hold the key in the turned position for about 30 seconds and it finally started up leaving for work and then the exact same issue after work. (I know this messes with the car but I had no choice). I’m not sure what the issue is or if it needs any parts but I’ve had 2 separate mechanics look at it in the past week and nobody mentioned seeing anything wrong with the battery post or wires if that helps. Ideally need someone to come to my home in Balgowlah to have a look tomorrow as I am hoping to drive it to work on Friday or if I can start it I can drive it to you. Thanks so much. I have a Johnson 225hp VRO outboard that has starting problems that l would like fixed. Also a 12hp Tohatsu outboard that runs but cannot attain high rev's. The engines are on boat's on trailers at my house in Seaforth. You will need to come to me as l don't have a vehicle to take them to you.

Urgent, my car engine oil is leaking and the engine fault is coming on.

1997 Mazda 626. I removed the existing oil filter, but couldn't get the new one in, so I feel stuck. The car is parked on concrete in my backyard. I've got a new filter and new oil. I'll take care of getting rid of the old oil.
